The flat face of this trigger is designed to work with the pivoting action of the SA-35 and Browning Hi-Power (BHP) trigger system. By placing your finger lower on the trigger face, you gain a mechanical advantage that provides a more direct and consistent pull. This is a practical upgrade for shooters who want a repeatable finger placement and a clean break, round after round.
At 0.31 inches wide, this trigger is notably broader than the factory 0.25-inch unit. This wider surface distributes the pull force across a larger area of your fingertip. The result is a more comfortable shooting experience, especially during extended range sessions or training courses where trigger time adds up. It reduces the sharp, concentrated pressure point you might feel with a narrower trigger.
The integrated over-travel reduction pad is a key feature. It directly addresses the trigger over-run common in the Browning Hi-Power design. By limiting rearward movement after the sear breaks, you get a more defined stop and a shorter reset. This helps you stay on target and fire faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Note: Due to tolerance variations between different slides and frames, minor trimming of the over-travel pad may be necessary on some pistols to achieve the perfect fit.
